At more than double the brightness of its previous generation, the Coin 2.5 is wildly versatile and fits almost anywhere. Plus, it’s compatible with enough Ape Labs accessories to wow your audience with much more than you ever thought possible.

The Coin 2.5 is essentially the Can 2+, but without the battery. This reduces the size and the price. And if you decide you need to go battery-powered, simply plug it into a USB battery bank and go fully wireless. Whether you’re doing uplighting, downlighting, dance floor lighting, pinspotting, or truss warming, this tiny light fixture is perfect for permanent installs or mobile events and can be hidden anywhere.

What’s New with Coin 2.5?
The Ape Labs Coin 2.5 builds on the Coin 2+ platform with two important updates for easier setup and long-term reliability. Instead of the short USB-A pigtail used on the Coin 2+, the Coin 2.5 features an integrated USB-C port and includes a 6 ft USB-C cable in the scope of delivery.

This USB-C design makes the Coin 2.5 more flexible for a wide variety of setups. Users can power the fixture with the included cable or use another standard USB-C cable when a different length is needed for a clean installation, mobile event, battery bank setup, or custom rigging configuration.

The Coin 2.5 also features an improved PCBA board for enhanced performance and reliability. Other than these updates, it delivers the same compact size, powerful 15W RGBaW output, accessory compatibility, and control options that made the Coin 2+ such a versatile lighting tool.

The Ape Labs Coin 2.5 is a compact yet powerful fixture designed to meet a wide range of lighting needs. It is designed to be your tiny but mighty workhorse. With its AmberWhite LED technology, it can reproduce color that was never possible before. With 29 built-in color presets designed specifically for the event industry by American industry professionals, the Coin 2.5 allows the user to create incredible lighting designs with just the push of a button.

With a careful balance of reengineered optics, the warmth of AmberWhite LED technology, and an improved PCBA board for enhanced performance and reliability, the Coin 2.5 is an incredibly flexible fixture. It is excellent for traditional uplighting, unique Fresnel effect uplighting, ambient lighting, dance floor lighting, stage lighting, design washes, table lighting, pinspotting, room washing, tube effects, and beyond.

The integrated USB-C port makes the Coin 2.5 easier to power in real-world setups. Use the included 6 ft USB-C cable, or choose another standard USB-C cable when your event, installation, or battery bank setup requires a different length. Compared to the previous short USB-A pigtail design, this gives users more flexibility when planning clean installs and fast mobile setups.

Compatible accessories include the Swivel Ball Adapter for mounting anywhere in any direction, wash optics available in 10, 15, 25 or 45 degrees, Pinspot Adapter at 5 degrees, UniStand for pinspot or dancefloor lighting, Dome Lens for super-wide wash or eye-candy effects, Table Tube Adapter for short tube effect lighting, Coin Tube for 1 or 2 meter tube effect lighting, and many more.
